Greetings in the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ through the Maternal Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary!


With profound joy and gratitude to Almighty God, we announce that on the feast of our great patron, St. John Eudes (19 August 2026), the following twelve candidates received the Sacred Order of the Diaconate:

  2. Rev. Mr. Iorkase Nathaniel Viasima – Kusuv, Buruku LGA

  3. Rev. Mr. Ikyo Damian Saaondo – Adogo, Buruku LGA

  4. Rev. Mr. Adaashi Michael Aondoaser – Ikpenger, Gboko LGA

  5. Rev. Mr. Gabriel Terver Nguuma – Asukunya, Tarka LGA

  6. Rev. Mr. Timothy Terdoo Kwaghkar – Uyarako Mbaajiraka Mbaakor, Tarka LGA

  7. Rev. Mr. John Ode Ode – Ohuhu Owo, Oju LGA

  8. Rev. Mr. Samuel Terungwa Azenda – Ikpenger, Gboko LGA

  9. Rev. Mr. James Ode Onawo – Iyokolo Idelle, Oju LGA

  10. Rev. Mr. Peter Onda Aduma – Anyadirogo Uwokwu, Oju LGA

  11. Rev. Mr. Raphael Kerghtor Kurugh – Gbem, Mbahile Mbagbor, Vandeikya LGA

  12. Rev. Mr. Francis Ukwule Adaikwu – Obohu, Oju LGA

The Ordination took place by the grace of God at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Angels’ Chapel, Makurdi.

These twelve men — true crusaders of our time and new “Apostles” of the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts — now serve as deacons in the Holy Church. We give thanks to God for this great grace and ask you to continue praying for them.

What is coming next

These same twelve deacons are now preparing to receive the Sacred Order of the Priesthood. By the grace of God, their priestly ordination will take place on the feast of Our Lady of La Salette, 19 September 2026.


We earnestly recommend them to your prayers so that Almighty God may strengthen them and make them worthy and faithful priests of His Holy Church.

Prayer to Our Lady of La Salette

(for the newly ordained deacons as they prepare for the priesthood)

Remember, O Virgin of La Salette,
the tears you shed for us on Calvary.
Remember also the constant care you take
so that, in the name of Christ, your people may be reconciled with God. And see if, after having done so much for your children,
you can now abandon them! Comforted by your tenderness, Mother,
we come to you in supplication,
despite our infidelities and ingratitude. Do not reject our prayers, O Reconciling Virgin,
but turn our hearts to your Son.
Obtain for these twelve deacons the grace to love Jesus above all else,
to be configured ever more perfectly to the Heart of the Eternal High Priest,
and to console you by lives given entirely for the glory of God
and the salvation of souls. Our Lady of La Salette, Reconciler of Sinners,
pray without ceasing for us who have recourse to you. Amen.

Keep the date! Our eclipse is about to become light again with the SSIH ordinations of these 12 crusaders for the Restoration. Congratulations, Crusaders of our time! We should also be crying with Our Lady — and praying with her for the triumph of the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts.
