A LETTER OF PROFOUNDEST APPRECIATION FROM THE MUD & THATCH CHAPELS OF BENUE TO OUR BELOVED BENEFACTORS
To Our Most Esteemed and Dearly Beloved Benefactors in Christ,
Ms. Anastasia C., Ms. Carol C., and all our co-workers and those who asked us not to publish their names on GiveSendGo who gave us Monstrances and Sacred Vessels,
Viva Cristo Rey!Viva Immaculata Mariæ!
We who had no voice now speak. We who had no palace for our God now have a throne.
We are the Ten Chapels. We have no marble, no stained glass, no bells that ring across cities. Some of us are built of mud, roofed with thatch, floored with red earth. Some of us are only a tent that we move with like herdsmen. Some of us are a borrowed and rented room where the faithful kneel in the dust and hard floor.
For years, Our Lord Jesus Christ came to us hidden in a small ciborium. He came, but He could not be enthroned. He could not be shown. Our priest could not bless our sick children with Him, could not carry Him in procession through our villages, could not expose Him for our farmers to adore after a long day in the fields. We adored Him in our hearts, but our eyes longed to see Him enthroned and processed with, Blessing and impacting His lasting Peace on our Land not the false peace being currently prayed in the so-called ASISSI CONVENTION OF WORLD RELIGIONS' OF PRAYER FOR PEACE this strictly goes against the Commandments of God. Rather we enthrone Christ Jesus and have lasting peace as He is the only True King of Peace-this you have done for us Miraculously.
Through the fatherly heart of our Bishop, + Abah Onuh Samuel-Maria, you heard our cry from Africa and you responded unanimously to Our Lord who truly wants to be enthroned in the hearts of man.
You sent us a KING'S THRONE!
By your heroic and sacrificial love, you purchased for our Missions:
- 10 magnificent and very expensive Monstrances - each one a sun of gold to hold the true Sun.
- Cope and Humeral Veils - so our priests can now vest as kings' ministers.
- Pyxes - so Christ in the large Host can now be encased in our Tabernacle waiting to be exposed Adoration and imparting His Blessing at Benediction.
- Thuribles with Incense Boats and quality Incense - so that now, when we pray, our little mud chapels smell like Heaven.
- Candlesticks, Altar linens, and Vessels - so our altars are no longer poor.
Look at us now, dear Benefactors! See what you have done! Take a look at some of the pictures!
In Otukpo Carmel, your Discalced Daughters kneel for hours before your Monstrance [see photos]. In Holy Name of Jesus Chspel -Koti-Yough, the old men weep when the Monstrance is raised. In Mediatrix of All Graces Chapel, Oju, children who once played now sit in silence for an hour, eyes fixed on the Host. In our tent chapel in the fields of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Usen, where Fulani Jihadis normally disturb, the faithful kneel with confidence to the TRUE KING, the pictures tells better.
You did not give us metal. You gave us the Presence of Christ the King in our midst. You did not give us decoration. You gave us Evangelization.
For where the Holy Mass is celebrated and the Holy Sacraments practiced especially with the Blessed Sacrament enthroned, conversions explodes. Where He is adored, vocations come. Where He is carried, the devil flees. Already, in one month since the Ordinations, we have recorded steady adult and children baptisms, persons returning to the True Catholics Tridentine Faith and Morals, and young men asking to enter our seminary and same with young ladies to our convent - all because Jesus is now visible among us in His Priests and now exposed daily in Adoration.
What can ten poor Chapels give to rich Benefactors from America, Asia and Europe?
We give you what the rich cannot buy.
1. A Share in Every Mass, Every Benediction, Every Adoration: In all 10 Chapels, every Thursday and every First Friday, the Holy Mass and the entire Holy Hour of Adoration is offered for you, by name, for your families, living and dead. Your names are inscribed on the pedestal of each Monstrance [exception of those who asked us not to].
2. The Prayers of the Poor: Our Lord said, "The prayer of the poor pierces the clouds." Every old woman, every child, every person who kneels before your Monstrance prays for you. They do not know English as such, but they know how to say "Thank you, Mother, Thank you, Father" to God for you.
3. A Home in Heaven: One day, when you come to stand before Christ the King, He will say to you: "I was homeless in a mud hut in Benue, and you built me a palace. I was hidden, and you enthroned Me. Enter into the joy of your Lord."
Beloved Benefactors, our joy is full, but our mission is not finished.
Our Bishop will ordain 4 new priests for 2027. They have no Monstrances. They will be sent to 4 new mission chapels as many as are already seeking for our SSIH mission that have no chapel at all - only open fields where we normally use palm leaves to shade them from the African Scorching sun.
We thank you for the 10 thrones you have given. Will others help us give 4 more thrones to Christ the King?
We who are nothing, kneel in the dust of our chapels, and with our Bishop, kiss your generous hands.
We remain, forever indebted,
In the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, enthroned by you,
